CA+ Plus Smart Heating Rod

The CA+ Plus 800W is a smart aquarium heating system designed for sump aquariums and large freshwater tanks. It uses dual PTC heating rods and dual temperature-sensitive probes to provide stable temperature control while actively reducing risks such as overheating and dry burn.

Dual PTC Heating Rod Design

Unlike traditional single-element heaters, CA+ Plus uses two PTC heating rods, allowing heat to be distributed more evenly across a larger surface area. This improves temperature stability and reduces localized overheating.

Dual Temperature-Sensitive Probes

Two independent temperature probes continuously monitor water temperature. If abnormal readings are detected—such as sudden temperature changes or probe exposure. The system responds immediately by cutting power to the heater.

Temperature adjustments are made through an external controller, keeping electronics away from direct heat and water exposure while allowing easier, more precise control.

Out-of-Water Power-Off Protection

If the heater or probe is exposed to air during maintenance or water changes, the system automatically cuts power to prevent dry burn damage.

Stable Mounting with Suction Holder

A suction-cup holder secures the heating rod firmly to the aquarium glass, helping maintain correct positioning and consistent heating performance.
